I am reviewing the Hathdia Extended Long Probe Soil Moisture Meter. There are similar brands available in the market. When testing the meter in a glass of water, it provides an expected “wet” reading. In wet clay soil, the meter also gives accurate results. However, when used in wet sandy soil commonly found in potted plants, it shows a “dry” reading. This has raised concerns about proper watering for new plants in sandy soil mix. Further investigation will be needed to address this issue….
