Description For the Davidson I wanted to do something that I hadn’t done before that would still work. I wanted to combine as many elements as I could without making the whole thing a mess, and after a great deal of prototyping the Davidson came into being. Hand-curved at the back with the hole being a tribute to the late Barbara Hepworth, this is one of the things in life I’m most proud of, and I’m thrilled to offer it to you here. Solid Wool is a company based in Bath, UK. Built on the principle of recyclability, performance and presentation, its conventional use is for high-end furniture. While it’s brilliant for tables, it’s tremendous for picks, offering a firm, warm sound akin to Richlite with a more reserved, considered nature. I’ve been using it myself for some time and I’m very proud to be the first to offer it in pick format. 5.5mm thick x 29.5mm wide x 28.5mm tall. Each HR! pick is hand-made by John Tron Davidson using bandsaw, belt/disc sander, files and sandpaper.
