This Late Roman Berkasovo Helm is crafted from 18 gauge brass and heavily embellished with inset faux gemstones of colored glass. The cheekplates and neckplate are fitted to the helmet with riveted leather hinges. The entire interior of the helm and the inside of the hinged plates are lined with stitched leather. An internal and adjustable leather suspension liner is integrated into the helmet. Two small brass rings on the cheekplates serve as anchor points for the included leather cord chinstrap.
