GP: GENERAL PURPOSE Surface Conditioning Discs are made from stiff scrim backed material designed exclusively for disc use. Best choice for general deburring or edge breaking. They are also great for blending machine tool marks, general surface cleaning, gasket removal and heavy rust and oxidation removal. Max-Finish: MAX-FINISH Surface Conditioning Discs feature a scrim backing that is not as stiff as our Premium or General Purpose discs. They and will leave a smooth finish without leaving any “stray” scratches. They are slightly less aggressive than our Premium and General Purpose discs, great when surface finish is the primary concern. HD: HEAVY DUTY Surface Conditioning Discs are a combination of AO and Ceramic grains, with additional resin for added strength and durability. These discs are very stiff and aggressive, which make them the best choice for heavy deburring, weld grinding, and splatter removal. Only available with center hole.
