This late 14th Century Gambeson is crafted from sturdy, quilted cotton and filled with cotton felt for interior padding. It is closed on the front with cotton buttons. The use of organic materials to craft this gambeson give it innate improved ventilation properties over gambesons constructed or padded with artificial materials and poly-fill.
