This Brigandine Tasset can be added to your armored Brigandine defense for extended protection without incurring the loss in movement and flexibility that comes from extending the torso armor directly. Included is one length of Tasset armor which you can use to extend your brigandine protection to your front or your back. This tasset belt is created by stoutly riveting 19 gauge plates (0.8 mm) of tempered spring steel to a sturdy backing of canvas which is faced on the exterior with thick wool. The belt loop tabs are made from very thick and robust 10-11 oz leather (4 mm thick). Each leather tab is solidly anchored to the brigandine belt with four rivets to each tab and they allow for the tassets to be securely suspended from your own arming belt.
