This buckler is crafted from 18 gauge steel and though the steel is thinner than other bucklers, it has the benefit of weighing considerably less and being notably easier on the wrist. The reverse of the buckler is blackened and the riveted steel grip is fitted with two halves of rounded wood to finish the grip.
