The spiciness of the cake with the freshness of a cream cheese frosting on top is just one of those perfect combinations that we will never get tired of. With this cake mix you can easily make the carrot cake yourself, by only adding water, eggs, vegetable oil and grated carrot. The rich spicy flavours of this mix are delicious. If you like, you can add nuts or raisins to the batter! Perfect for a wintery afternoon, an Easter high tea or just anytime with your cup of coffee. The mix is also suitable for making carrot cupcakes! Preparation for 500 gram: Preheat the oven to 175°C (convection oven 160°C). Ingredients need to be at room temperature. Mix 500 g of the mix with 80 ml of water, 3 eggs (150 g), 150 ml (140 g) of vegetable oil and 150 g of grated carrot. Add chopped walnuts (25 g) and/or soaked raisins (40 g) to taste. Mix together for 5 minutes, then pour the cake batter into a buttered and lined 8 inch/20 cm square or 9 inch/22 cm round baking tin. Bake the cake in the centre of the oven for approx. 50-60 minutes until golden. For cupcakes, bake for 25 minutes. With this baking mix you easily bake a delicious carrot cake. Only add water, eggs, vegetable oil and grated carrot. Suitable to add walnutes or raisins if desired. Storage: keep in a cool an dry place. Content: 1 kg.
